Tales From Two Texas Paw Paw

Hi folks, this is 2 Texas PawPaw and the reason for this blog is I like to tell stories and try to write a little poetry now and then. Most of my writings is about my family because I have the greatest family in the world, I realize if you dont know my family, it might be a little boring to you but maybe my family will get a kick out of some of it anyway, Hope you like it and if you dont, well, thats ok too, you're still my friend.

"HEADIN' WEST"

Hi Folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw and, this morning I guess I better bring you up to date on the Heffner Family. This one is called "Headin' West", and, it goes like this:-----THEY LIVED IN A TOWN CALLED "BIG 'D'", LIFE WAS ALWAYS IN A HURRY---RUSHING TO WORK AND RUSHING HOME, KINDA TOPSY TURVY---ONE DAY THE HUSBAND TOLD HIS WIFE, I THINK IT'S TIME FOR A CHANGE---SHE SAID I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT MY MAN, OR MY NAME ISN'T ANGE---I'LL BID GOODBYE TO CAPITOL, I HOPE IT'S FOR THE BEST---AND WE'LL LOAD JOSH AND ALL OUR THINGS, AND MAYBE HEAD OUT WEST---THEY PACKED ALL THEIR BELONGINGS, IT WAS A TRAILER LOAD---PUT JOSHIE IN HIS CAR SEAT, AND THEN THEY HIT THE ROAD---THEY ARRIVED IN A SMALL NORTH TEXAS COMMUNITY, ONE EVENING ABOUT SUNDOWN---AND HERE THEY'D START A BRAND NEW LIFE, IN GOOD OLD PAMPA TOWN---HE FOUND A JOB, THEY FOUND A HOUSE, THANKS TO BEA AND ZOE---A HOUSE ANG'S MOTHER LIVED IN, ALMOST 25 YEARS AGO---HE'S LEARNING TO BE AN ELECTRICIAN, JUST WORKING ON THE LINE---THANKS TO MAC SUPPLY AND GOOD OLD COUSIN BRYAN---JOSHIE HAS A BACK YARD, BIG AND LOTS OF GRASS---DAD DRIVES A COMPANY TRUCK, MOM GOES TO WEIGHT WATCHERS CLASS---AND JOSHIE MISSES NANA, AND PAPA THOMAS TOO---SO HERE'S A KISS FROM JOSHIE, AIMMED STRAIGHT AT BOTH OF YOU---S M A C K-O---THEY SEEMED TO HAVE SETTLED IN, A BIG CHANGE IN THEIR LIFE---JUST ANOTHER HAPPY TALE, FOR A HUSBAND, HIS SON, AND HIS WIFE!-----I think things are really going to work out for Greg, Angie & Josh, it looks better every day. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.
