"SISTER IN LAWS"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw, and this morning I want to talk about sister in laws. You got any? Well, if you do, I hope yours are as sweet and beautiful as mine because I've got the greatest ones in the world. I had three but we lost one back in 1998, Ann, and she was a jewel. I've written several poems about Ann but here's one a lot of the family might not have ever seen. It goes like this-----THERE IS A DEAR PLACE, A WONDERFUL PLACE, WITH A SMALL COMFORTABLE BACK YARD---IT'S HIGH IN THE SKY, FAR FROM YOU AND I, A PLACE WHERE ANGELS STAND GUARD---THIS PLACE HAS BEEN GIVEN BY SOMEONE IN HEAVEN, TO GET THERE IT'S NOT AT ALL HARD---JUST FOLLOW YOUR HEART FROM THE VERY START, TO THIS PLACE WHERE ANGELS STAND GUARD---WE KNOW SOMEONE THERE, FOR WHOM WE REALLY CARE, IN OUR LIFE SHE ONCE STARRED---SHE WENT A WHILE BACK, AND RODE THE RIGHT TRACK, TO THAT PLACE WHERE ANGELS STAND GUARD---SHE NOW CALLS IT HOME, AND SHES NOT ALONE, SHE NEVER NEEDS A PLASTIC CARD---BUMPY'S THERE TOO, WAITING FOR YOU, AT THAT PLACE WHERE ANGELS STAND GUARD---AND SOMEDAY SOON, AT NIGHT OR AT NOON, WE WILL GO THERE TO SHARE THAT YARD---WITH BUMPY AND ANN, WE'RE TOGETHER AGAIN, IN THAT PLACE WHERE ANGELS STAND GUARD.-----Bumpy was my father-in-law, and Ann's Daddy, we lost him back in 1985, and no finer man ever lived.
