"A BOOK FOR GRANPA"
Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Young Cody was a teenager in high school. He had completed his Christmas shopping except for one gift and that was for his Grandpa. Now Grandpa was not a rich man but he was one of those who had everything and was very hard to buy for. Cody ask his Grandpa what he wanted for Christmas, and Grandpa replied, "Maybe a good book to read". Cody ask what about and Grandpa told Cody to pick it out. Cody ask Grandpa if there was a peticular subject he like to read about. Grandpa said there were several, so Cody ask him to list a few subjects for him to choose from. Following is Grandpa's list; Law, Mystery, Romance, Love, Hate, Sports, History, Weather, Wars, Nature, Marriage, Medical, Religeon, Crime, Animals, Oceans, Seas, Birds, Ships, Financial, Entertainment, World Records, Children, Universe, Farming. Cody could not decide which subject to choose, Grandpa had listed so many. But on Christmas Day, when the family gathered to hand out gifts, Cody gave his Grandpa his gift. Grandpa opened and found a book that Cody had bought for him and told him that book should cover it all. When Grandpa opened the gift. he found a book and on the front it was titled, THE HOLY BIBLE. Cody was right, that book will cover it all.:-----God made it possible for us to have this great Text to refer to for any and every subject or problem that comes up in life. God also sent us a saviour. If our greatest need had been information, God would have sent us an educator. If our greatest need had been technology, God would have sent us a scientist. If our greatest need had been money, God would have sent us an economist. If our greatest need had been pleasure, God would have sent us an entertainer. But our greatest need was forgiveness, so God sent us a Saviour. This Christmas, may you see and know anew how great His love is toward you. Luke 2:11 says, "For unto you is born this day, a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord". This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

Paw Paw, this is so true. People always say "life doesn't come with an instruction book" and I feel like saying "yes it does, it's called the Bible".
