"THE MEASUREMENT OF LIFE"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. It will amaze you how things pop into your mind when the day isn't going as you would like for it to. My day started out bad for a few non important reasons, however, I thought it was really bad. It turned out to be a very simple problem which I solved quickly and it got me to thinking how we all jump to conclusions. Maybe the following poem will help you in the future when things don't start out right in the beginning of some morning. I call it "The Measurement of Life", and it goes like this:-----OPEN THE PAGES OF YOUR MIND--AND VIEW THE MEMORIES YOU LEFT BEHIND--THEN PICTURE THE FUTURE THAT WILL ALL BE NEW--AND THINK ABOUT WHAT GOD HAS IN STORE FOR YOU--WE FIND THAT THINGS DON'T ALWAYS WORK OUT--WE TEND TO FORGET AS WE RUSH ABOUT--SO GATHER YOUR FEELINGS AND TAKE WHAT YOU GET--THE BEST LAID PLANS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SET--GOD IS THE LEADER OF OUR LIVES HERE BELOW--WE BEST FOLLOW WHEREVER WE GO--AND IF WE SUBMIT AND DO HIS WILL--HE WILL HELP US OVER THAT HIGHEST HILL--AND IF WE CLING CLOSE TO HIS SIDE--OUR HOPES AND DREAMS HE WILL LOVINGLY GUIDE--AND WHEN OUR JOURNEY FINALLY ENDS AT LAST--OUR FATHER FORGIVES US FOR ALL OF OUR PAST--HE TAKES US HOME TO LIVE FOREVER--WITH LOVED ONES AND FAMILY ALL TOGETHER--AND AS WE PASS THROUGH THAT BEAUTIFUL GATE--WE KNOW IN OUR HEARTS, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.
