Tales From Two Texas Paw Paw

Hi folks, this is 2 Texas PawPaw and the reason for this blog is I like to tell stories and try to write a little poetry now and then. Most of my writings is about my family because I have the greatest family in the world, I realize if you dont know my family, it might be a little boring to you but maybe my family will get a kick out of some of it anyway, Hope you like it and if you dont, well, thats ok too, you're still my friend.

"NANNY TWO"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Just a short word for all you family members. I know your prayer life the past few days have been centered around Heath, Julie & Meghan, and that's good. God is working beautiful miracles for us on that subject. If possible, try to squeeze in a prayer for Nanny Two. Her doctor has advised she should not be out of the house alone anymore. She can no longer drive her car. She now has a cane and a walker to assist her in getting around. Her children are looking into the possibility of placing her in a Nursing Home for awhile until they can get her admitted into Assisted Living Quarters. She is 86 now and needs our prayers. I know you will respond and I thank you. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

Well, I had actually talked to Mom the other night and I have been praying for Nanny 2. It sadens me because she is such a "Classy Nanny" and it makes me sad seeing her get her Most Valued Possessions taken from her, but I know it's for the best. I don't like the idea of her going in a "Nursing Home" as I worked in one for yrs. and I know how they treat the elderly!! I always treated those people in there like I would have treated my Grandma but there were certain ones that worked there that abused the Patients. But we will have to just Pray especially hard that hopefully the "Assisted Living" will become available.

I will be praying too. I hate to see Nanny lose her independance, as I know that that is something that is very important to her. But, of course her safety is most important to all of us.
