"TEARS IN YOUR EYES"
Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. You have all heard the old saying, "If the shoe fits, wear it", probably a million times. This poem is not directed at any one in peticular, no more than it is me or anyone else who may have been in a situation that the poem might solve things that are or once was on your mind. It's called "Tears In Your Eyes", and it goes like this:-----YOU LOOK AT YOUR LIFE THROUGH A CRYSTAL BALL, AND WONDER IF YOU WERE WISE---KNOWING NOW THAT DECISIONS BY YOU BROUGHT ONLY TEARS TO YOUR EYES---AND SIGNS OF THINGS YET TO COME ARE SCARRY AND HARD TO ACCEPT---WONDERING WHY ALL THOSE SECRETS WERE EXPOSED BUT DIDN'T HELP---ALL THE PIECES CAN STILL BE PICKED UP, AND STORED AWAY IN YOUR MIND---AND LEFT SO DEEP IT WOULD BE HARD FOR ANYONE TO FIND---LET JOY TAKE THE PLACE OF HATE AND PUT SUN SHINNY DAYS AHEAD---AND RELIEVE THE PRESSURE OF ALL THE THINGS THAT SOMEBODY MIGHT HAVE SAID---GET BACK TO THE BASICS OF LOVING EACH OTHER AND LET FELLOWSHIP HAVE IT'S PLACE---AND BE THE LAST PIECE TO THE PUZZLE THAT'S BEEN LOST IN THE HUMAN RACE---LOVE SOMEBODY YOU HAVEN'T LOVED IN AWHILE, AND YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED---HOW QUICKLY THOSE THOUGHTS OF KINDNESS, CAN REMOVE THOSE TEARS FROM YOUR EYES---AND WHEN ALL THINGS ARE HAPPY AGAIN, YOU'LL FIND LIVING CAN REALLY BE GOOD---WE CAN SHARE OUR LOVE TOGETHER AGAIN, BY DOING THINGS RIGHT, LIKE WE SHOULD:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

I think that poem has been your best one yet!! I loved it. It related to me because I've been there before.
Thanks pawpaw!!
I wish it was that easy. But maybe with Continued Prayers and time someday it can be. That was a great Poem Dad, I'm with Kay Ray, I think this is the best one ever.
Great poem...Call me crazy, but I have hard time beleiving it's not directed at anyone in peticular. In any case, I do think that there's usually a little more to it than just "putting on a happy face" and forgetting something that has had a great impact on your life. It's neither healthy nor beneficial in my opinion. There's a saying I've heard that I like and it goes like this "The truth will set you free, but first it will make you miserable".
