Tales From Two Texas Paw Paw

Hi folks, this is 2 Texas PawPaw and the reason for this blog is I like to tell stories and try to write a little poetry now and then. Most of my writings is about my family because I have the greatest family in the world, I realize if you dont know my family, it might be a little boring to you but maybe my family will get a kick out of some of it anyway, Hope you like it and if you dont, well, thats ok too, you're still my friend.

"OUR COUNTRY"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Did you ever stop to think how lucky we are living in the United States and how proud we should be because we do? It is an honor to be a part of this country. Why? Because we have a choice as to how we live in it. I don't mean in relationship to the job you have, there are certain things on certain jobs that you have to do, like it or not. I'm talking about how we live in our hearts and minds and how we conduct ourselves to other people. Compared to many other places, we are accepting a gift by living in 'Our Country'-----HOW MUCH DO WE LOVE AMERICA, THE LAND THAT WE LIVE IN---HOW MUCH ARE WE THANKFUL THAT WE ARE NOT SOME OTHER PLACE WE COULD HAVE BEEN---KNOWN FOR IT'S GLORIOUS COLORS OF THE FLAG, THE FAMOUS RED, WHITE AND BLUE---LAND OF THE FREE, HOME OF THE BRAVE, CONNECTED BY THINGS THAT ARE TRUE---A COUNTRY WITH RIGHTS-EQUAL RIGHTS, WITH LAWS THAT GOVERN IT'S WAYS---RAN BY THE WORDS OF THE BIBLE, AND GUIDED BY GOD'S HOLY PRAISE---A PRIVILEDGE WE HAVE TO LIVE HERE, WITH HIS COMMANDMENTS TO GUIDE US EACH DAY---WITH ENOUGH COMMON SENSE ABOUT US TO LIVE HERE IN A GODLY WAY---SO WHEN YOU WAKE IN THE MORNING, RAISE YOUR HEAD UP TOWARD THE SKY---GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR A COUNTRY, THAT HE GAVE TO YOU AND I:---This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I will return.

Very nice 2 Texas, I find the best time to talk to God is in my car on the way to work every morning. And I do "Thank" him for getting me through another day and telling him how grateful I am that I am where I am. Great Story. Thanks!
