Tales From Two Texas Paw Paw

Hi folks, this is 2 Texas PawPaw and the reason for this blog is I like to tell stories and try to write a little poetry now and then. Most of my writings is about my family because I have the greatest family in the world, I realize if you dont know my family, it might be a little boring to you but maybe my family will get a kick out of some of it anyway, Hope you like it and if you dont, well, thats ok too, you're still my friend.

"DOING WHAT'S RIGHT"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Well, here we are, a brand new year, 2006, and who better to start the year with than Jesus. This is a challenge for you to practice for the new year. I ran accross a verse of scripture last night, in I John, Chapter 5, verse 4. (EVERYONE WHO IS A CHILD OF GOD CONQUERS THE WORLD. AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT CONQUERS THE WORLD...OUR FAITH)-----We all get impatient with our own life, trying to master a habit or control a sin, and in our frustration, we begin to wonder where the power of God is. Be patient. God is using today's difficulties to strengthen us for tomorrow. He is equipping us. The God who makes things grow will help us bear fruit. Dwell on the fact that God lives within you. Think about the power that gives you life. The realization that God is dwelling within you may change the places you go or the things you do, today, this week, or even this year. Do what is right this week, whatever it is, whatever comes down the path, whatever problems and delimmas you face---just do what's right. Maybe no one else is doing what's right but you do what's right. Be honest, take a stand and be true, and then after this week, let it carry on throughout the entire year, daily. Afterall, regardless of what you do, GOD does what is right, He saves you with his grace. There is no greater feeling than walking with the Savior. Good luck and God Bless. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.
