"TARZAN"
Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Who is Tarzan? Well, he was my trusty pal and friend, my dog. Two years we had Tarzan and he was a good one. But, circumstances caused us to have to give him up in hopes he could have a better life. He needed space and and closed up in a back yard wasn't the right thing for him. This poem is in memory of My Tarzan:-----ONE BRIGHT MORNING AT THE CRACK OF DAWN---I JUMPED OUT OF BED AND SLIPPED MY BRITCHES ON---I RAN OUTSIDE AND I LOOKED ALL AROUND---BUT OLD TARZAN WAS NOT TO BE FOUND---AND THEN I REMEMBERED TARZAN WAS GONE---I WONDERED IF HE WAS SOMEWHERE ALONE---I LOOKED FORWARD TO SEEING HIM EACH DAY---AND IT'S HARD TO REALIZE HE'S GONE AWAY---HE WAS MY BUDDY, ALWAYS BY MY SIDE---WHEREVER I WENT, HE WAS THERE FOR THE RIDE---AN OUTSIDE DOG FROM THE DAY HE WAS BORN---BUT AFRAID OF LIGHTNING, THUNDER AND A STORM---I'M SURE GONNA MISS HIM AND NANNY WILL TOO---I HOPE HE'S HAPPY IN A LIFE BRAND NEW---THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A TUG AT MY HEART---AND TARZAN WILL ALWAYS BE A BIG PART---YES, WE GAVE HIM UP, I HOPE IT WAS RIGHT---SO SAY A LITTLE PRAYER FOR TARZAN TONIGHT---AND IF IT'S NOT ASKING TOO MUCH OF YOU---SAY ONE FOR NANNY, AND ONE FOR ME TOO:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I will return.

I think Tarzan is at a place he has always wanted to be. I think he is going to miss you and Nanny tremendously!! I think he will be happier in a place he has more room to run and play, I know that doesn't keep you from missing him. But I know my dogs love the Farm life. I wish we could have taken him but I feared for his life out there. I just think you getting rid of him happened for a reason, and I truly believe he is happier.
