Most of my writings is about my family because I have the greatest family in the world, I realize if you dont know my family, it might be a little boring to you but maybe my family will get a kick out of some of it anyway, Hope you like it and if you dont, well, thats ok too, you're still my friend.

A TRIBUTE TO NANNY SALES

SHE TRAVELED THROUGH LIFE SHARING LAUGHTER AND TEARS---SHE ROCKED SIX CRADLES IN THE EARLY YEARS---SHE DID HER BEST TO KEEP HER CHILDREN FROM HARM---AND SHE RAISED ALL SIX ON A COTTON FARM---SHE NURSED THEM ALL THROUGH MEASLES AND MUMPS---FIGHTS AND FLU AND BRUISES AND BUMPS---IT WAS ALWAYS THEIR SAFETY SHE WAS THINKING OF---AS SHE WORKED ALONG SIDE BUMPY, THE MAN THAT SHE LOVED---THEY RAISED THEIR CROP AND HAULED IT TO THE GIN---GETTING JUST ENOUGH MONEY TO START OVER AGAIN---AND AT CHRISTMAS TIME WHEN THE KIDS NEEDED A LIFT---SHE MADE SURE EACH ONE GOT A FEW SMALL GIFTS---AND WHEN ALL THE GIFTS HAD BEEN HANDED OUT---AS LONG AS THEY GOT THEIRS, SHE COULD DO WITHOUT---BUT THEN CHANGES CAME, HER CHILDREN BECAME GROWN---AND STARTED RAISING FAMILIES OF THEIR OWN---BUT SHE KNEW SHE WOULD NEVER BE ALONE---BECAUSE ALL OF HER CHILDREN LOVED TO COME BACK HOME---AND GRAND KIDS ALL OVER LOVED TO GO TO THEIR GRANNIES---AND THERE WAS NOTHING LIKE A WEEKEND AT NANNY'S---AND LATER VACATIONS WITH HER DAUGHTERS EACH YEAR---WERE ALWAYS FILLED WITH LOVE, AND LAUGHTER, AND CHEER---AT HER 80TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, SHE WAS STILL THE SAME---THAT'S WHEN WE VOTED HER TO THE 'MOTHERS HALL OF FAME'---SOMEONE ONCE SAID ''WHEN NEEDED SHE NEVER FAILS''---THE MOTHER OF BOTH CENTURIES WAS EUNICE SALES---AND NOW SHE'S IN HEAVEN, A NEW LIFE SHE'LL BEGIN---HEAVEN NEEDED A NEW ANGEL, THAT'S WHEN NANNY WALKED IN---SHE HAS TAKEN HER P;ACE BESIDE GOD'S THRONE---KNOWING ONCE AGAIN SHE WOULD NEVER BE ALONE---AND SHE WILL BE REWARDED FOR THE LIFE SHE HAS GIVEN---WALKING HAND IN HAND WITH BUMPY AND ANN, ALONG THE SHORES OF HEAVEN---AND HER LOVE WE ALL SHARED WILL NEVER CEASE---AND THE PRAYER WE ALL PRAY IS THAT SHE ''REST IN PEACE''.---AMEN

CHRISTMAS 2011

Hi folks, this is TWO TEXAS PAWPAW, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. It's that time of year again when only one thing is really important, and that is family. Maybe your family lost one or two along the way, but always be thankful for the time you had them, but most of all be thankful for the ones you still have. Your profile is what life deals you but you have to help it along as you go. So always reach for the moon, and if you miss it, grab a handful of stars on the way by. Maybe there is something very special this year you want for Christmas, and when its all over, perhaps under the tree, you will have found it. But remember, its not what is under the tree that matters, what matters most of all is whose around it. Again, have a very special MERRY CHRISTMAS.

"LITTLE COWBOY"

Today was one of the darkest days of my life. My little dog Cowboy had become very ill and very old and I had to have him put down. He was like a member of the family and Nanny and I will miss him very much. So for Little Cowboy, I give you these words-----TONIGHT SOMEWHERE UP IN HEAVEN, LITTLE COWBOY WALKS ON HEAVENS GROUND---NO SIGHT OF HIM IN OUR HOME ANYMORE, BUT HE WILL ALWAYS BE AROUND---HE WAS A BUDDY, A PAL, AND A FRIEND, FOR ALMOST SIXTEEN YEARS---ILL ALWAYS REMEMBER HIS EXCITED LITTLE FACE, WHEN HE STUCK UP HIS TWO LITTLE EARS---CHASING THE GARBBAGE TRUCK DOWN THE ALLEY, BARKING AT THE DOGS NEXT DOOR---WITH ME EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY, I WISH I COULD HOLD HIM ONCE MORE---I'D BE RICH IF I COULD BOTTLE AND SELL, ALL THE LOVE TO ME HE HAS GIVEN---BUT I'M COMFORTABLE IN KNOWING THE SUFFERING IS OVER, "LITTLE COWBOY" IS IN DOGGIE HEAVEN. This is TWO TEXAS PAW PAW, signing off.

"THE AFTERTHOUGHT OF SANTA'S ARK"

Perhaps you read the story of "Santa's Ark" but if you didn't, you need to before you read this story. Remember, it was about a young lad from McKinny, Texas who saved Christmas in 2010 for Santa after his sleigh broke down. Well, the Mayor of Dallas and the CEO of the Dallas-FtWorth Airport decided this heroic display of bravery should not go unrewarded. They declared a "JOSH SANDERS DAY" to take place in the down town streets of Dallas on Sunday, January 23, 2011. They contacted Josh's parents, Angie and Gary, and ask them to have Josh at the front door of the court house at 9AM on that date. Here was the instructions that Josh was to perform before coming. A large LIMO would be provided for the parade and Josh was to select a limo driver of his choice , himself, and 23 other guests to ride in the limo with him. They were all to gather at the same time Josh would be there. So Josh began contacting the people he wanted to ride with him in the parade.. When Josh arrived at the court house, there set his limo, large enough to hold 25 passengers. He was greeted by the Mayor and presented the "Key To The City". They ask Josh if he had selected his guests and he acknowledged that he had. Josh was then ask to introduce his guests. First of all, my Mom and my stepdad Gary. My Auntie Kendra, Uncle Jerry, and my three cousins, Kayleigh, Aeva, and Sara Jo. That made seven. My cousins Bryan and Mandy in Pampa, and their three tripletts, Reese, Andrew, and Caden. That made 12. Uncle Zoe and Aunt Bee in Pampa, that makes 14. My Nana Kathy, and My Great Grand Parents Nanny and Paw Paw 2, that makes 17. I will be # 18, and my Great Great Grandmother Nanny Two Sales from Slaton will be 19. My Step Grand Mother, Barbara, called Noona, will be #20. I have selected as my Limo driver, Quarterback Tony Romo of the Dallas Cowboys. That is 21. My Nana Kathy's two best friends, US Marshall Randy Ely and Karen from ElPaso will make 23. The seat directly behind me, I will be in the front seat, that seat will be facing the other guests. It will appear empty, but it is for Jesus, you can't see him but he will always be there. The last seat between Josh and the limo driver up front, was still to be filled. About the time the parade was ready to start, two young nurses walked up to the Limo and they were carrying a large box. Josh opened the box and took out a baby crib. He placed the crib on the front seat next to him and explained to the other guest. Inside this crib is a doll of a baby girl. It represents my new baby sister who will arrive in a few days. I want to pretend she is with me now because when she really does get here, she will be with me always for me to take care of for as long as we both shall live. That makes 25 guests, counting Josh. With that, Tony turned the limo into the streets of Dallas, as the confetti flew from the tall buildings in Dallas, a hero was honored for making it possibe for all children all over the world to have Christmas in 2010. Hundreds of thousands of people cheered and---yes---you guessed it, they all lived happily everafter-----This is TwoTexas PawPaw---signing off.
