"TEARS IN YOUR EYES"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. You have all heard the old saying, "If the shoe fits, wear it", probably a million times. This poem is not directed at any one in peticular, no more than it is me or anyone else who may have been in a situation that the poem might solve things that are or once was on your mind. It's called "Tears In Your Eyes", and it goes like this:-----YOU LOOK AT YOUR LIFE THROUGH A CRYSTAL BALL, AND WONDER IF YOU WERE WISE---KNOWING NOW THAT DECISIONS BY YOU BROUGHT ONLY TEARS TO YOUR EYES---AND SIGNS OF THINGS YET TO COME ARE SCARRY AND HARD TO ACCEPT---WONDERING WHY ALL THOSE SECRETS WERE EXPOSED BUT DIDN'T HELP---ALL THE PIECES CAN STILL BE PICKED UP, AND STORED AWAY IN YOUR MIND---AND LEFT SO DEEP IT WOULD BE HARD FOR ANYONE TO FIND---LET JOY TAKE THE PLACE OF HATE AND PUT SUN SHINNY DAYS AHEAD---AND RELIEVE THE PRESSURE OF ALL THE THINGS THAT SOMEBODY MIGHT HAVE SAID---GET BACK TO THE BASICS OF LOVING EACH OTHER AND LET FELLOWSHIP HAVE IT'S PLACE---AND BE THE LAST PIECE TO THE PUZZLE THAT'S BEEN LOST IN THE HUMAN RACE---LOVE SOMEBODY YOU HAVEN'T LOVED IN AWHILE, AND YOU MIGHT BE SURPRISED---HOW QUICKLY THOSE THOUGHTS OF KINDNESS, CAN REMOVE THOSE TEARS FROM YOUR EYES---AND WHEN ALL THINGS ARE HAPPY AGAIN, YOU'LL FIND LIVING CAN REALLY BE GOOD---WE CAN SHARE OUR LOVE TOGETHER AGAIN, BY DOING THINGS RIGHT, LIKE WE SHOULD:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"HIS SPECIAL DAY"

Romans Chapter 14 Verse 11:12---For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.....Powerful, powerful words. This describes Gods special day. Judgement Day. Will you measure up to His Special Day?-----THE TIME HAS COME TO LIVE OUR LIVES IN A CARING AND GODLY WAY---BE NOT FOOLED THAT YOU WILL ANSWER TO OUR FATHER ON JUDGEMENT DAY---HOW LONG IS THE LIST IN THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE THAT MUST BE GIVEN TO HIM---HOW MANY THINGS WOULD YOU WANT TO CHANGE SO HE WOULDN'T SEE ALL OF THEM---CAN YOU BE COMFORTABLE WHEN THE JOURNEY IS OVER AND YOU REACH THE GREAT HEREAFTER---SADNESS AND SORROW AND COUNTLESS DISAPPOINTMENTS OR TREASURES OF JOY AND LAUGHTER---IT'S A DECISION THAT WE MUST MAKE AND MAYBE OUR LIFE IS DUE A CHANGE---MAYBE TO A POINT WHERE OTHER PEOPLE WHO KNOW US MIGHT THINK WE ARE STRANGE---YOU MAY THINK TIME IS ON YOUR SIDE AND YOU HAVE LOTS LEFT TO GO---BUT THE DAY OUR LIFE COMES TO A HALT IS SOMETHING WE DO NOT KNOW---ONLY GOD CAN CONTROL THE YEARS WE HAVE LEFT WHETHER LIFE IS SHORT OR LONG---WE NEVER KNOW WHEN THE ANGELS WILL SING THAT FINAL RESTING SONG---SO START TODAY, GOD HAS THE POWER TO WIPE THE PAST AWAY---AND REST ASSURED, WHEN YOUR TIME COMES, YOU CAN FACE THAT SPECIAL DAY:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"LIFE-HOW DO WE FOCUS?"

Life is the most unpredictable thing on earth. We are all aware of the past in our lives and what took place. We know what is happening at the present, whether it be agreeable or not. But it's the future that no one but God can predict. We must learn from the past and the present in order to handle the future. Sometimes we lose our focus. We can be walking in love all day, going along fine until someone or something comes along and offends us. As soon as we forget our focus of life and love, we stop making progress and come to a standstill.....aggravated, upset, and offended. Understand that the mind is a battlefield. If you don't stop Satan when he gets into your thoughts, you are not going to stop Him from getting into your life. Stay focused. Ask God to help you remain full of love, no matter what comes your way today or any day in the future. Todays scripture is from II Corinthians 10:4 (FOR THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE ARE NOT PHYSICAL (weapons of flesh and blood) BUT THEY ARE MIGHTY BEFORE GOD FOR THE OVERTHROW AND DESTRUCTION OF STRONGHOLDS)-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"AND JESUS SAID"

People began to gather in the Market Square. The group was small at first, but soon others gathered and it became a multitude of people. Milling around, unknowing what they had gathered together for, nor why. Suddenly a man appeared on the steps of a crumbled building at the end of the square. The crowd moved toward him and recognized him as Jesus, the Son of God.....and Jesus said.....IF YOU SUBMIT AND LET ME LEAD YOU--CONFESS YOUR SINS AND SAY "I NEED YOU".....and they listened. and Jesus said.....IF YOU BOW BEFORE ME AND HUMBLY PRAY--THEN CERTAINLY I WILL SHOW YOU THE WAY.....and they listened. and Jesus said.....IF YOU TRUST MY JUDGEMENT BUT DON'T UNDERSTAND--AND FOLLOW MY FOOTSTEPS LEFT IN THE SAND.....and they listened. and Jesus said.....IF YOU LET YOUR BURDENS BECOME MY OWN--I PROMISE YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE.....and they listened. and THEN Jesus said.....IF YOU LET ME CONTROL YOUR BEHAVOUR--I WILL FOREVER BE YOUR PERSONAL SAVOUR.....and with that, all the people listened.-----This is Two Texas PawPaw. This was written for someone I love very much.

"I'M STILL HERE"

I'm just having a hard time coming up with anything to write about. Most of mine is about family and it's kinda topsy turvy right now and you have to be careful what you say. I guess you and Kay Ray and I can have a blast anyway. Who knows, one of us might even tell a funny joke. I'll be back.

"IS THE BLOG THE PAST?"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Good question. Is the blog a thing of the past? Not many comments lately for anyone's blog and that could be for a number of reasons. I realize "things" have been shakey in certain peoples lives in the past few days but "things" could be back on the right track now and we must believe that. The blog was created to be fun. We have to keep it that way and look around and past the problems that come up in life. God is a master at taking our turmoil and revealing the best possible solution to us. As Peter once wrote, "casting all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for you. When we do that, He trades us His joy for our anxiety. And that is such a deal! He then works things out and makes it clear to us which step to take next. We can relax, release the tension, and once again we can laugh. What say we get back to having fun on the blog and let those "things" heal theirselves. They need our prayers, not our help. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I MAY be back tomorrow.-----I PETER 5:6-7HUMBLE YOURSELVES UNDER THE MIGHT HAND OF GOD, THAT HE MAY EXALT YOU AT THE PROPER TIME, CASTING ALL YOUR ANXIETY UPON HIM BECAUSE HE CARES FOR YOU.

"THE FIRST OF MANY ADVENTURES"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Julie and Heath now have their prescious little Meghan. And, she will start a journey that will last the rest of her life. During that pierod, Meghan will experience many first. Her first look at many surroundings outside the orphanage. A first look at two people somewhere besides the orphanage that she can wake up to and be able to call them Mommy and Daddy. I assume her first airplane ride. And when she gets home, a family who will love her like she has never been loved before. I can see the boys racing up the street to tackle another adventure in the neighborhood, and Meghan standing behind, watching them. They will all stop, they will turn, and they will yell, "COME ON MEGHAN", and she too will race to join her brothers. She will experience a Granibee and a Den Den like no other. Why? Strongly because of the effort of Julie and Heath and partly because of the prayers from her blog family and many others, and mainly because of God. It's going to be shakey at first, but, the rest of the puzzle will fall into place quickly, over time. Do your part and continue to pray for this beautiful family. She is about to witness a very important change in her life. As a committment from you, when you comment on this post, just put your name, as a symbol that you will continue your prayer request to God on behalf of the McGeHee's. -----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks dont rise, Meghan will be home shortly.

"SUNDAY MORNING APPETIZER"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Here's something to get you through Sunday and start Monday off on the right foot. Have you ever reached the point in life where burdens and worries stack up so high, you think there couldn't possibly be room for anything else to go wrong? We have all been there, right? Listen carefully and pay attention. In Matthew 11, verse 28, it says in plain English. COME TO ME, ALL YOU WHO LABOR AND ARE OVER BURDENED, AND I WILL CAUSE YOU TO REST. I WILL EASE AND RELIEVE AND REFRESH YOUR SOULS. Nothing complicated about that at all. No big fanfare, no trip to Mecca, no hypnotic trance, no fee, you don't even need a special password. Just unhook the pack and drop it in His lap. He'll take the stress while you take a rest. And you know what, he is a lot better at carrying that load than we are. Just a Sunday Morning Appetizer to get you ready for Monday morning.-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"DURING ALL THE PRAYERS, DON'T FORGET"

Hi folks this is Two Texas PawPaw. This morning, I would like to share one of my favorite scriptures with you to maybe give you some so called food for thought. It is found in Philippians, Chapter 4, verse 7. (AND THE PEACE OF GOD, WHICH PASSETH ALL UNDERSTANDING, SHALL KEEP YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS THROUGH CHRIST JESUS). We have all been doing a considerable amount of praying lately for a lot of different things. Greg and Ang moving to Pampa, Kendra and the sudden change in her and Jerry's life, Heath and Julie on their journey to bring little Meghan home, Nanny II in her life change concerning the Nursing Home and her age, and I am sure there are other various things in your life that you have made prayer request to God for. This is all well and good, and we should continue to do so, lest we not forget our other obligation to Christ. We can petition the Lord for things we need every morning. God's word tells us to lay our request before him. "Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition, (meaning definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God". Phil 4:6. But, don't spend all your time with God petitioning for things. You are out of balance if your petitions out weighs your praise and thanksgiving. A heart full of thankfulness will make any day better. If something you prayed for yesterday was granted in an acceptable way, don"t forget to give God the praise for the answer you received when you go to him again today for more requests. Just a thought.-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"HE BRIGHTENS ALL PATHS"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw.-----EVERYDAY WHEN WE AWAKE, WE KNOW NOT WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS---SOMETIMES BLESSED AND SOMETIMES NOT, IT CREEPS INTO OUR SOULS---WE TEND TO TRY AND FORGET IT AND IT PLAYS WITH OUR MIND---AND BEFORE WE KNOW WHATS HAPPENING, WE'RE FOLLOWING A CROOKED LINE---WE SEEM TO LEAVE THE PAST BEHIND AND HAVE ALL SORTS OF DOUBT---WHEN WHAT WE SHOULD BE DOING IS ATTEMPT TO STRAIGHTEN THE LINE OUT---PRAYER IS A POWERFUL POSSESSION, GRANTED TO US FROM ON HIGH---IF WE EXERCISE THAT PRIVILEDGE, IT WILL SURELY GET US BY---YEARS ARE NOT LOST AS YOU MAY THINK, TIME WAS GOOD AND VERY WELL SPENT---AND THOUGH A CHANGE IS DUE IN LIFE, IT MAY VERY WELL BE A HINT---THE JOURNEY MAY GET SMOOTHER, AND YOU COULD START TO GLIDE---AND THINGS MAY START TO GET BETTER, AS YOU EXPLORE THE OTHER SIDE---SO FOLLOW YOUR HEART AND LISTEN TO WHAT GOD HAS TO SAY---YOU CAN'T GO WRONG IF YOU GIVE HIM TIME TO SHOW YOU THE WAY---WHILE HE'S SORTING THIS ALL OUT, THERE'S ONLY ONE THING LEFT TO DO---GIVE HIM A CHANCE TO BRIGHTEN THE PATH, IF THIS POEM WAS WRITTEN FOR YOU:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"A LITTLE BIT OF FUN"

You are going to Texas Stadium. A table has been set in the center of the football field. There are 12 chairs at the table, 1 chair at each end and 5 each on both sides. You will sit at the head of the table on one end and Jesus will sit at the other end. The 10 chairs on the sides will be occupied by 10 people you invite. They cannot be immediate family members or anyone related to you in any way. The meal will be of your choosing. They can be living today, or someone who has passed on to Heaven. Name the 10 people you would invite. They do not have to be in any peticular order. Here are my guest: 1. Ronal Reagan 2. Elvis Presley 3. Lorrie Morgan 4. John F Kennedy 5. Billy Graham 6. Troy Aikman 7. Tom Landry 8. Patsy Cline 9. George Bush, Sr. 10. John Wayne: This is open to anyone who wishes to submit their guest list.

"TALK ABOUT GOD'S WILL"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Remember when we were doing a great amount of praying for Heath & Julie in their effort to get custody of Little Meghan and everything seem to just fall into place? On almost all our blogs, we mentioned several times about the will of God. Nothing to me is more encouraging than knowing for sure that we are in the will of God. Then, no matter what happens, we can stand fast. We can be out of a job or on the job and know that we are in the will of God. We can face a threatening situation and know that we are in the will of God. The worst odds can be stacked against us yet we know that we are in the will of God. Whatever final decision is made, God makes it, and it is his will. Nothing intimidates those who know they are in the will of God. Colossians 1:9 says: (THAT YOU MAY BE FILLED WITH THE KNOWLEDGE OF HIS WILL). There is still a lot of bridges to cross before Meghan is home, we must continue to ask for God's will. Keep praying. "A MARRIAGE MADE IN HEAVEN"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. I have no peticular reason why I wrote this poem, I just felt like it. It's called, "A Marriage Made In Heaven", and it goes like this:-----THEY HAVE BEEN MARRIED FOR 75 YEARS, BOTH STILL IN GOOD HEALTH---THEY ARE IN THEIR 90's NOW, NEVER HAD MUCH WEALTH---SOME SAY IT'S A MIRACLE THAT THEY HAVE STAYED TOGETHER---OVERCOMING MANY OBSTACLES AND SURVIVING STORMY WEATHER---STILL TAKING THEIR WALKS IN THE PARK, AND CARRYING OUT THEIR PLANS---THEY EACH USE A WALKING CANE, AND CONTINUE HOLDING HANDS---THEY STARE LOVINGLY AT EACH OTHER, THEN GLANCE TOWARD THE SKY---FEED PEANUTS TO THE SQUIRRELS AND WATCH THE PIDGEONS FLY BY---SURROUNDING THEIR LIFE WITH LOVE THAT GOD GRANTED TO EACH---AND MAKING SURE THAT NEITHER IS EVER OUT OF REACH---JUST TWO SWEET OLD PEOPLE, MARRIED IN 1927---SLOWLY COMPLETING A JOURNEY THAT WILL LEAD THEM BOTH TO HEAVEN---AND DO THEY LOVE EACH OTHER?, YOU DON'T HAVE TO ASK THEM TWICE---THE TRIP THEY HAVE MADE TOGETHER, IS EACH OTHERS PARADISE---THEY STILL LOOK AT ONE ANOTHER, AND EXCHANGE A LOVING SMILE---WITH HEAVEN AS THEIR DESTINATION, THEY'LL BE THERE IN A LITTLE WHILE:-----This poem was written in 2002, and, like I said, I don't know why. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"FRIDAY THE 13TH, LUCKY OR UNLUCKY?"

FRIDAY THE 13TH, GOOD LUCK OR BAD, REGARDLESS WE ALL HAVE TO TAKE IT---AND WHEN IT'S OVER, WE CAN LOOK BACK, AND THE DAY WILL BE WHAT WE MAKE IT---JUST TELL YOURSELF IT'S GONNA BE GOOD, AND THE BAD THINGS ALL GO AWAY---WHO KNOWS, YOU MIGHT BE A MILLIONAIRE, AT THE END OF THIS UNLUCKY DAY---WHY YOU COULD EVEN WIN THE TEXAS LOTTERY, AND NEVER WORRY ABOUT MONEY AGAIN---AND CHANGE THE PLACES YOU WERE GOING, AND NOT WORRY ABOUT WHERE YOU BEEN---BUT EVEN IF YOU DON'T STRIKE IT RICH, KEEP YOUR LIFE NEAT AND TIDY---MORE THAN LIKELY NOTHING WILL CHANGE ON THIS 13TH DAY OF FRIDAY---BUT IF YOU DO OBTAIN THAT FORTUNE, MORE THAN LIKELY YOUR LIFE WILL STAND OUT---BUT KEEP ONE THING IN MIND FOR SURE, TWO TEXAS PAW PAW COULD USE A HANDOUT:-----Don't walk under any ladders, break any mirrors, and stay away from black cats,

"NANNY TWO"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Just a short word for all you family members. I know your prayer life the past few days have been centered around Heath, Julie & Meghan, and that's good. God is working beautiful miracles for us on that subject. If possible, try to squeeze in a prayer for Nanny Two. Her doctor has advised she should not be out of the house alone anymore. She can no longer drive her car. She now has a cane and a walker to assist her in getting around. Her children are looking into the possibility of placing her in a Nursing Home for awhile until they can get her admitted into Assisted Living Quarters. She is 86 now and needs our prayers. I know you will respond and I thank you. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"COMPLETE THE FINAL CHAPTER"

MIRACLES HAPPENED LIKE WE HOPED THEY WOULD---PROVING ONCE AGAIN THAT GOD IS GOOD---AND TIME WILL PASS IN A RAPID WAY---IF WE AS GOD'S CHILDREN CONTINUE TO PRAY---HOPES AND DREAMS HAVE ALL BEEN SET---THE FINAL BATTLE IS NOT OVER YET---WE MUST NOT FORGET THAT PRAYER HAS POWER---AND IS NEEDED DESPERATELY UNTIL THE FINAL HOUR---SO LOOK TOWARD HEAVEN AND LET YOUR PRAYERS ROAM---UNTIL HEATH, AND JULIE, AND MEGHAN, ARE SAFELY HOME.

"BRINGING MEGHAN HOME"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. I'm sure by now you have read Julie's latest update and viewed the pictures of Meghan Elizabeth McGeHee. As we all witness the joy as well as the stress that Heath & Julie are going through, I once again strongly request that each and every person who thus far have taken part in the prayers that have been offered up to God on behalf of them and their precious Meghan, continue to do so. We can each one feel that we had a part in the progress that has been accomplished so far because of our prayers. I know God has to answer those prayers, but remember, they have to be offered to Him before he can answer. If you do this, you can share a part in "BRINGING MEGHAN HOME"-----JUST AS WINGS ALLOW THE BIRDS TO FLY---ACCROSS THE CLOUDS THAT DRIFT THE SKY---PRECIOUS IS LOVE TO THOSE WHO HAVE IT---MORE PRECIOUS IS LOVE FROM THOSE WHO GIVE IT---TRUST AND HONOR TO EACH ONE'S MATE---PATIENCE AND LOVE OVERSHADOWS THE WAIT---FLOWERS THAT GROW IN THE EARTHS SOD---ARE GIFTS TO CHERISH, GIFTS FROM GOD---GRACING YOUR LIPS WITH A BEAUTIFUL SMILE---AS REWARDING AS THE LOVE OF A MOTHER AND CHILD---COLORS OF A RAINBOW ACCROSS A SKY OF BLUE---MOMENTS OF PRAYER BETWEEN OUR FATHER AND YOU---THESE ARE THE THINGS THAT MAKE A LIFE---YEARS SPENT TOGETHER AS HUSBAND AND WIFE---AND THE CHILDREN YOU RAISE ALONG THE WAY---WILL FILL THE HOURS OF EVERY GOD GIVEN DAY---NOW ALL THE THINGS YOU WILL GET TO SHARE---WERE ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE POWER OF PRAYER---REST ASSURED YOU WERE NEVER ALONE---YOU, GOD, AND YOUR FAMILY PRAYERS, WILL BRING MEGHAN HOME---AND WHEN HER AND THE BOYS ALL FINALLY MEET---THEN YOU CAN SAY, "OUR FAMILY IS COMPLETE"---AND RAISE YOUR HEAD AND STAND UP TALL---AND SAY TO THE WORLD, IT WAS WORTH IT ALL:-----Keep praying people, more than ever. "PARENT TO CHILD PRAYER"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. I hope everyone has been extending their prayers for Heath, Julie and Meghan. I feel confident that you have. The reports we have so far are all good and we want to keep it that way. Although we as family have been praying for them, did you ever stop to think how much praying they have done in relationship of parent to child. Starting with Nanny II praying for Libby and Dennis, Libby and Dennis praying for Heath and Julie, and Heath and Julie praying for Meghan. Never underestimate the ponderings of a Christian parent. Never underestimate the power that comes when a parent pleads with God on behalf of a child. Who knows how many prayers are being answered right now because of the faithful ponderings of a parent, not only today in the Meghan chapter, but the prayers ten and twenty years ago? God listens to thoughtful parents. Praying for our children is a noble task. If what we are doing, in this fast-paced society, is taking us away from prayer time for our children, we are doing too many other things that are not as important. There is nothing more special and more precious than time that a parent spends struggling and pondering with God on behalf of a child. I hope each one of you continue our special prayer service for Heath, Julie and Meghan. The Bible tells us in Isaiah 54:13, (ALL YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE TAUGHT BY THE LORD, AND THEY WILL HAVE MUCH PEACE):----- Please carry on the Prayer Session. This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"AN ALL DAY PRAYER SESSION"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. What say we have an all day prayer session starting now. According to Julie and Sydney's information that we have received, this is the day that they meet with Meghan. God wants to be the center of our lives. Our conversation, our entertainment, and our relationships. Although we have other things that have to be done, lets try to keep prayer in the back of our minds, for Heath, Julie and Meghan. Its not hard to keep more than one thing on your mind at the same time. Pray everytime the thought crosses your mind, whether it is driving, working, eating or relaxing. And, if the need and thought strikes you, stop what you are doing and praise God in your mind. That also is prayer and we need to cast all our cares on him each time today that we think of it. And then say, "Lord, I am not going to worry about anything, their safety is in your hands, and I feel confident that you will deliver them home safely". Prayer should be like breathing, natural to do anywhere you are and anytime the thought crosses your mind. (Psalm 141:2) "LET MY PRAYER BE SET FORTH AS INCENSE BEFORE YOU, THE LIFTING UP OF THE HANDS AS THE EVENING SACRIFICE". We owe it to Heath and Julie, because they are family.-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"THE ZOO KEEPER"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas Paw Paw, with the latest news from Pampa, Texas. Jerry and Greg are working this morning, Nanny, Ang & Kendra are gone to Amarillo and I am in charge of the ZOO. I have Kayleigh, Josh, Tarzan, Janie, Cowboy & Piper. And, you know what, I wouldn't trade places with anybody today. Cowboy and Piper tried to eat the mailman, Tarzan and Janie got in to a fight over food in the back yard, Josh likes to pull the covers off of the chairs in the living room, Kayleigh wants to eat all the time, and I cant make the CD work to show the movies they want me to put on which they wont watch if I did, and they both want orange juice and I dont have any. I have plenty of Apple juice, but they dont want that. The washing machine is leaking all over the floor. Josh needed to pee, he did, and later I went in to check on them and he was naked. Kayleigh decided the pictures on the end table in the living room looked better in the floor, and now they are fighting over blocks. Janie wont stay behind the gate, she jumps it. Cowboy or Piper, one, I dont know which one, CHIT in the bathroom floor. Piper ran outside when I went to get the mail and started chasing a rabbit and almost got ran over. Tarzan is about to scratch the back door off the hinges wanting in the house and its 76 degrees outside. I have a headache, and if I had a bottle of Canadian Club, I would chug -a-lug it in a minute. BUT< as I said, I wouldn't trade places with anybody, not even Nana KJ 42. Outside of all that, it's a peaceful day in Pampa, Texas. This is Two Texas PawPaw, and the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, and I live through all this, I'll be back tomorrow, 20 years older than I am today.

"TO DESCRIBE HER---KAYLEIGH FAITH"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Here is a description of someone special that I know:-----TO DESCRIBE HER---THE BEAUTY OF AN EAGLES WINGS SPREAD WIDE AS HE GLIDES THROUGH THE AIR---THE MOMENTS SHARED BY LITTLE CHILDREN AT BEDTIME, LISTENING TO A MOTHERS PRAYER---THE RIPPLING OF CLEAR BLUE WATER, SLOWLY FLOWING DOWN A MOUNTAIN STREAM---THE QUIETNESS OF A NEW ENGLAND LIGHT HOUSE FLICKERING ACCROSS THE OCEAN, IT'S CIRCLING BEAM---THAT'S MY KAYLEIGH FAITH---TO DESCRIBE HER---RED ROSES PLACED IN A BEAUTIFUL BOUQUET, WHITE ROSES SPREAD IN BETWEEN---THE PRONOUNCED KISS OF A HUSBAND AND WIFE, THAT COMPLETES A WEDDING SCENE---SWEET NOTES OF MUSIC WITH WORDS SO SOFT, BRILLIANTLY PLAYED ACCROSS A MEADOW---A CHURCH BELL RINGING ON SUNDAY MORNING, THE FEELING OF JESUS AS YOUR SHADOW---THAT'S MY KAYLEIGH FAITH---TO DESCRIBE HER---AS SWEET AS THE SWEETEST TASTING WINE, SWEETER THAN A NEW BORN BABY---A SMILE THAT TUGS AT YOUR HEARTSTRING, AND LOCKS INSIDE YOUR MIND, DAILY---AS PRECIOUS AS A FRESH CUT DIAMOND, MORE VALUABLE THAN A STRING OF PEARL---NOTHING MORE BEAUTIFUL ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH, THAN THE FACE OF THIS LITTLE GIRL---THAT IS MY KAYLEIGH FAITH:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"TRIVIA ANSWER"

Rainbow is correct. Have you ever heard the saying, 'A "MISS" IS AS GOOD AS A "MILE"?' Well, if you call a single woman a "miss" and a married woman a "mrs", then I guess it would take 21 single women to stretch 21 miles, RIGHT? That was a silly trick question, wasn't it? Super Nana and Ang, I liked your answers very much, but Kay Ray, your answer was great, anyone ought to want to be ME!!! Have a good day y'all!

"FRIENDSHIP-A BEAUTIFUL THING"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. One of the most treasured assets a person can have is friendship. There is nothing more precious than the trust between two people. Maybe you have had a dispute lately with someone close to you and it's beginning to get harder to mend every day. Maybe this will help, it's called "Friendship-A Beautiful Thing", and it goes like this:-----THE UPS AND DOWNS OF EVERYDAY LIFE, THAT WANDER THROUGH OUR MIND---CAUSES THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS, SEEM VERY HARD TO FIND---AND ONCE WE COMPLETE THE TASKS AT HAND, AND REMEMBER WHAT WE FORGOT---IT'S TIME TO DO SOMETHING ELSE AND WE GET BEHIND ALOT---WE SHOULD FACE OUR PROBLEMS ONE BY ONE, AND SOLVE THEM AS THEY APPEAR---AND THEN THE THINGS THAT MATTER MOST, WILL SUDDENLY BECOME VERY CLEAR---A HASTY WORD, A FLARE OF TEMPER, A CLOUD BETWEEN YOU AND A FRIEND---IF NOT MENDED IN THE NICK OF TIME, MAY CAUSE THAT FRIENDSHIP TO END---BACK UP THREE STEPS AND START AGAIN, AND TRY A DIFFERENT APPROACH---AND YOU MIGHT FIND IT'S WORTH THE TIME, TO BE THE PLAYER AND NOT THE COACH---IT COULD TURN OUT BETTER FOR YOU, AND MAKE IT A WONDERFUL DAY---BECAUSE IT'S NOT ALL THAT HARD, TO LET GOD HAVE HIS WAY---AND AFTER ALL, HE'S THE ONE, WHO WILL MEET YOU IN THE MIDDLE---JUST REACH OUT AND TAKE HIS HAND, GRIT YOUR TEETH AND BEND A LITTLE---SAVE THE PRECIOUS TIME THAT'S LEFT, DON'T LET THIS WHOLE DAY END---IT'S NOT WORTH THE SACRIFICE OF LOSING A VERY DEAR FRIEND:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"TRIVIA"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Today I have two trivia questions for you. #1. What contains red, purple, blue, yellow, white, green and various other colors, is unreachable and never straight. That one should be simple. #2. Lets say the city limits sign from one town to the next town was 21 miles. Got that? If you took single women, holding hands, turned sideways, stretching as far as they could reach, how many women would it take to reach the 21 miles distance. After you answer these two questions, I want you to tell the following: After death, if you could come back to society and live again, what or who would you like to return as, and tell why. I am tagging the following people to answer this: Super Nana, Ang, Kay Ray, Shonda, Sydney, Granibee, & Greg. Have fun!!!

"WATCHING JOSHIE GROW"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. This past weekend, my wife and I got to keep our little great grandson, Josh, Sat evening and night and part of Sunday. Everytime he comes for a lengthy visit I have the opportunity to observe him a little more. And each time, its a new experience, the things he does, and the things he says. I realized this time he is growing and growing and growing. What's that old Willie Nelson song, 'Ain't It Funny How Time Slips Away'? So true in the case of Joshua Alan:-----I STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HOME, THERE'S ONE THING FOR SURE I KNOW---A PEACE COMES OVER THIS HEART OF MINE, WATCHING JOSHIE GROW---HE IS LEAVING THE STAGE OF INFANT, AND APPROACHING THE STAGE OF BOY---AND QUICKLY LEARNING THE MEANING, OF BRINGING ME JOY---SUCH A QUICK LITTLE MIND HE HAS, IT'S ALWAYS ON THE GO---I WITNESS ALL THE NEW ADVENTURES, WATCHING JOSHIE GROW---BEFORE VERY LONG HE WILL BE A MAN, AND THE YOUNGSTER WILL BE NO MORE---AND I'LL PROBABLY WISH HE WOULD BE THE SAME, AS HE WAS BEFORE---BUT TIME AND AGE WILL CAUSE THIS, AND FROM CHILDHOOD, HE WILL HAVE TO GO---BUT I'LL NEVER FORGET THE MEMORIES OF WATCHING JOSHIE GROW---AND I HOPE HE NEVER FORGETS, THAT I LOVE HIM VERY MUCH---AND I HOPE WHEN HE GROWS UP, HE WILL ALWAYS KEEP IN TOUCH---UNTIL THEN, THE SHADES OF HAPPINESS, WILL ALWAYS CONTINUE TO FLOW---AND NOTHING WILL EVER TAKE THE PLACE OF WATCHING JOSHIE GROW:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"STARTING YOUR DAY OUT RIGHT"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. If my post this morning offends you, my apologies are offered. It is not intended to offend anyone. If it fits, wear it, and exercise it. If it doesn't fit, perhaps you can pass it on. It comes from scripture I found in Psalm 25, verses 12:13. (WHO IS THE MAN WHO REVERENTLY FEARS AND WORSHIPS THE LORD? HIM SHALL HE TEACH IN THE WAY THAT HE SHOULD CHOOSE. HE HIMSELF SHALL DWELL AT EASE, AND HIS OFFSPRING SHALL INHERIT THE LAND.) Beautiful isn't it? To enjoy your life, start following the God given desires of your heart instead of the desires of your flesh. You may need to mature in faith before you can tell the difference between your flesh and Spirit led desires. One way you can tell if you are following a desire of your flesh is that when you step out to do it, you will lose your peace and face a struggle. If it is not of God, you will feel like you are pushing a dead horse uphill. If it is a God given desire of the Spirit, it will work like a well oiled machine. It will flow with what I call a "Holy Ease". Start your day right and follow your heart. Here's a little poem you might stick under your pillow and read every morning when you wake up:-----WHEN THE SUN COMES UP AND YOUR DAY BEGINS, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A LIGHT---TO GUIDE YOU THROUGH THE JOURNEY OF THE DAY, AND TO START YOUR DAY OFF RIGHT---JUST BE THANKFUL YOU WERE ABLE TO RISE, AND FACE THE TASKS OF THE DAY---GIVE THANKS TO YOUR SAVIOR AND HE WILL HELP IN MAKING YOUR TROUBLES STAY AWAY---PUT A SMILE ON YOUR FACE AND LIFT YOUR HEAD UP HIGH, AND YOU'LL WITNESS DISAPPEARING OF DOUBT---AND STAY THAT WAY FOR THE REST OF THE DAY, AND YOUR LIGHT WILL NEVER GO OUT---WHEN THE DAY IS DONE, AND YOU'VE MADE YOUR RUN, AND THERE'S NOTHING BUT GOOD THINGS IN SIGHT---YOU CAN FINALLY REST KNOWING YOU DID YOUR BEST, JUST BY STARTING YOUR DAY OUT RIGHT:-----This is Two Texas PawPaw, signing off, and, the good Lord willing and the creeks don't rise, I'll be back tomorrow.

"DOING WHAT'S RIGHT"

Hi folks, this is Two Texas PawPaw. Well, here we are, a brand new year, 2006, and who better to start the year with than Jesus. This is a challenge for you to practice for the new year. I ran accross a verse of scripture last night, in I John, Chapter 5, verse 4. (EVERYONE WHO IS A CHILD OF GOD CONQUERS THE WORLD. AND THIS IS THE VICTORY THAT CONQUERS THE WORLD...OUR FAITH)-----We all get impatient with our own life, trying to master a habit or control a sin, and in our frustration, we begin to wonder where the power of God is. Be patient. God is using today's difficulties to strengthen us for tomorrow. He is equipping us. The God who makes things grow will help us bear fruit. Dwell on the fact that God lives within you. Think about the power that gives you life. The realization that God is dwelling within you may change the places you go or the things you do, today, this week, or even this year. Do what is right this week, whatever it is, whatever comes down the path, whatever problems and delimmas you face---just do what's right. Maybe no one else is doing what's right but you do what's right. Be honest, take a stand and be true, and then after this week, let it carry on throughout the entire year, daily. Afterall, regardless of what you do, GOD does what is right, He saves you with his grace. There is no greater feeling than walking with the Savior. Good luck and God Bless.
